ALGONQUIN – The village’s recreation department is holding its second annual Fall into Fun photo contest.

Residents have until Dec. 2 to submit photos. Photos may be used on the village’s website or in the village’s recreation guide.

Residents are encouraged to check out the village’s parks “as they provide the perfect setting to capture the fall in Algonquin, nature, sunrise, sunset, evening, architecture and/or community event images,” according to a news release.

Submit electronic photos to recreation@algonquin.org no later than Dec. 2.

The village, along with the village of Lake in the Hills, also is offering a photography class in November. Photographer George LeClair will teach a class from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 7 and 14 at the Lake in the Hills Village Hall, 600 Harvest Gate.

The class costs $54 for residents and $64 for nonresidents.

For information or to register, visit www.algonquin.org/recreation or lith.org.
