ALGONQUIN - Two people were transported to the hospital Wednesday after their vehicle rolled over in a two-car accident in Algonquin.

The driver and a passenger had to be extracted from their silver minivan after it collided with a two-door sedan on County Line Road just west of Randall Road.

The two were taken to the hospital and appear to be in stable condition, according to the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District.

A portion of County Line Road near the Algonquin Commons was closed as officials cleared the scene.

The Algonquin Police Department also responded to the scene.
