Published: Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013 4:40 p.m. CST

A man suffered a head injury and was taken to the hospital in fair condition after his four-wheeler rolled over, the Nunda Rural Fire Protection District said.

The man, in his late 40s, was left unconscious, from the crash that occurred just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Kerry Lane in unincorporated McHenry County north of Burtons Bridge, said Lt. Nathan Neilan.

Neilan said the man, whose name wasn't released, was making a turn when he rolled over. He was not wearing a helmet, Neilan said.

The man was taken via Flight for Life to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville in fair condition.
