CHICAGO — A memorial service for celebrity chef Charlie Trotter will be held Monday at a Chicago church.
The service takes place at 10 a.m. at Fourth Presbyterian Church on the city's famed Michigan Avenue.
Trotter died last week at a Chicago hospital after paramedics found him unresponsive at his home. He was 54 years old.
Trotter is credited with changing the way Americans viewed fine dining. And the Chicago restaurant he ran for 25 years put the city at the vanguard of the food world.
