Baxter & Woodman Inc. opens Chicago office

CRYSTAL LAKE – Baxter & Woodman Inc. Consulting Engineers has added a new Chicago office.

The 7,380-square-foot space opened Sept. 3 at U.S. Cellular Plaza, 8430 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Suite 400, Chicago.

It supports 25 to 30 employees working across Baxter & Woodman’s civil engineering and technology service lines. The new location enables the company “to further expand the depth of resources offered to the firm’s growing clientele throughout the greater Chicago metropolitan area,” Baxter & Woodman said in a news release.

The new office is led by Vice President John Ambrose. He is supported by a staff of engineers with expertise in transportation, water, wastewater, geographic information systems, control systems and related municipal engineering services.

Crystal Lake-based Baxter & Woodman is an employee-owned firm that provides planning, design, construction and technology services for water, wastewater, stormwater and transportation facilities for municipalities, counties and state agencies. The company has seven regional offices in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
