WOODSTOCK – The McHenry County Right to Carry Association will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at Woodstock VFW Post 5040, 240 N. Throop St.
The November meeting will be an opportunity for members, guests and the public to get answers from area police departments and the McHenry County Sheriff’s Department about the new Illinois concealed carry law.
Attendees will learn what they need to know should they have an encounter with an officer or deputy over a traffic violation or any other type of interaction.
McHenry County State’s Attorney Lou Bianchi will be present to provide information and answer questions, and invitations have been extended to municipal police departments in the area.
Attendees are invited to submit questions in advance. Law enforcement agencies are interested in knowing what people want to know, as they formulate their own policies for interactions. Questions may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
