WOODSTOCK – Adult & Child Therapy Services has added a new physical therapy assistant.

Sara Smedinghoff of Huntley will see patients two to three days a week. Smedinghoff graduated in May 2013 with an associate’s degree in applied science in the physical therapy assistant program at Elgin Community College.

Smedinghoff fulfilled her six-week clinical rotation at ACTS earlier this year, and she was hired directly after graduation. In addition to becoming a physical therapy assistant, Smedinghoff has been a licensed massage therapist for more than eight years.
