Published: Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013 11:33 p.m. CDT

CRYSTAL LAKE – Hindu drumming and song, Muslim call to worship, and Hebrew chanting will all be part of FaithBridge’s seventh annual Interfaith Thanksgiving service.

The service is titled “Coming Together in Gratitude,” and the focus is on the unity in diversity that encompasses the contributions of many faiths and ethnicities, making the community strong.

The event will include participants from Buddhist, Catholic, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Protestant, and Religious Science congregations.

The program also will include an interactive, creative segment; a presentation on poverty in McHenry County; and a collection benefiting area food pantries and the work of FaithBridge.

The program will take place at 7 p.m. Sunday at McHenry County Jewish Congregation, 8617 Ridgefield Road, Crystal Lake.

For more information, call McHenry County Jewish Congregation at 815 455-1810.
