JOHNSBURG – The Johnsburg Public Library, 3000 N. Johnsburg Road, plans a holiday drawing program, as well as Thanksgiving-related events.

• Holiday Tangle Drawing Program: 10:30 to noon Saturday for ages 8 to 12 and from 1 to 2 p.m. for adults and teens. Tangling is a popular form of doodling that produces amazing results.  Learn the basics and then design a holiday tangle, which can then be mounted on colored paper and turned into cards or framed works of art.

• Thanksgiving Story Hour: For children ages 3 to 6. Sessions take place at 7 p.m. Monday or 10 a.m. Tuesday. Enjoy Thanksgiving stories, songs, and crafts.

• Thanksgiving Book and Craft Club: For children 5 to 8. Event takes place at 11 a.m. Nov. 27. Join library staff for a fun time with books and make a craft to take home.

Advance registration is required for these free upcoming programs. Register online at www.johnsburglibrary.org, call the library at 815-344-0077, or stop by the library.
