CRYSTAL LAKE – The Raue Center For The Arts recently welcomed Betsy Liotus to its staff.
Liotus will serve as the nonprofit’s director of institutional giving. She has worked in nonprofit development for more than 15 years, which includes five capital campaigns. Her passion is helping organizations strategically position themselves to succeed from the inside out, according to a news release.
Before joining the Raue Center for the Arts, Liotus co-founded Catalign Consulting in Madison, Wis. She also has served as executive director of the Benedictine Life Foundation at Holy Wisdom Monastery, director of development at the University of Wisconsin Foundation and the University of Illinois at Chicago and as executive director of Fellowship Housing Corp. in Schaumburg.
Liotus has a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University, a master’s degree in philanthropy and development from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and a certificate in executive nonprofit management from Georgetown University’s Center for Public and Nonprofit Leadership.
