LAKEMOOR – The Longshot Sports Pub in Lakemoor is hosting a supply drive through the weekend to help those affected by Sunday's tornadoes.

David Gasior, drive organizer, said collections started Thursday and would go through Sunday at 7 p.m. at the bar located at 615 Rand Rd. Gasior said the primary need is cleaning supplies such as storage bins, mops and garbage bags. Items including winter coats, canned food, work gloves, toiletries, diaper and cash donations are also being collected.

Sunday will be the large collection day with auctions taking place during the Chicago Bears game at noon followed by a benefit concert from local band Patio Daddy-O. A $5 donation and nonperishable food item will serve as cost of admission for the concert.

Gasior said he would drive the supplies down to Washington, Ill., on Monday in a trailer donated by R.A. Adams Enterprises.

"I saw the devastation on the news and thought this would be the right thing to do," Gasior said.
