Northwest Herald Boys Golf All-Area Team

First team

Jordan Hahn, Richmond-Burton, jr.

Hahn placed third at the Class 2A boys state golf tournament. He also won the Class 2A Grayslake Central Regional at Renwood. The junior set a course record at Beaver Creek with a 29 during the season.

Chris Boyle, Jacobs, sr.

Boyle averaged 76 strokes for 18 holes during the season. He finished 11th at the Class 3A state tournament and was the top golfer on a very deep Jacobs team that won the Fox Valley Conference and a regional title with the sixth best score in the state – 298.

Ethan Farnam, Prairie Ridge, fr.

Farnam played at the top spot all season for the Wolves and averaged 38.4 strokes for nine holes. He shot a 75 at sectionals, which was tied for the best score in the area. The freshman advanced to the Class 3A state tournament where he finished 21st.

Jack Ramsett, Jacobs, sr.

Ramsett averaged 76.4 strokes for 18 holes. He advanced to the state tournament after shooting a 75 at sectionals. He finished 15th at the Class 3A state tournament and helped Jacobs to a Fox Valley Conference and regional title. Ramsett also placed in the top 5 at the Fox Valley Conference tournament, regionals and sectionals.
