So much better
To the Editor:
I would like to publicly acknowledge the kindness and generosity I experienced at our Crystal Lake Comfort Inn following the Nov. 17 storms. Like many others, we lost our electricity that day. Of course, that also meant losing our heat, and so we started calling local hotels.
Imagine my amazement at discovering that Comfort Inn had a special storm rate and was charging only $75 nightly for rooms that normally run $104. My thanks to Nathan Woodall and all the staff who, through their kindness and cheerfulness, made a hard situation so much better.
