CHICAGO — Two Chicago men have been arrested on drug charges and police seized cocaine and methamphetamine with a street value of more than $4 million.

In a news release, Chicago police say they arrested 38-year-old Eliseo Cabrales and 54-year-old Jesus Lopez on Tuesday afternoon after observing Cabrales delivering a package containing what officers believed were drugs to a vehicle driven by Lopez on the city's Southwest Side.

When police searched the vehicle, they found two kilograms of cocaine. During a search of an apartment on that same block, police discovered another 19 kilograms of cocaine, five kilograms of methamphetamine and a semi-automatic handgun.

Cabrales faces a felony count of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance and Lopez faces a felony count of possession of a controlled substance.
