HUNTLEY – Students from the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association will perform a junior version of Roald Dahl's "Willy Wonka," beginning Wednesday, Dec. 11.

Two performances are set for Wednesday and again on Dec. 18 at the Cosman Theater inside the Huntley Park District's recreation center, 12015 Mill St. Both performances begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $2 and available at the door.

The play involves Willy Wonka, an internationally-renowned candy man who provides a tour of his secret chocolate factory to the five children who found golden tickets hidden in his candy bars.

The stage adaption features many of the classic songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder.
