Fox Lake provides holiday light recycling

FOX LAKE – Drop-off recycling containers for holiday lights have been placed at the Fox Lake Village Hall and police department.

Mini-lights, also known as Italian lights, as well as C7 lights, C9 lights, rope lights, LED lights and extension cords of all lengths can be dropped off at the containers. Garlands, live greens and wreaths are not accepted.

The recycling containers can be found outside the front entrance of the Village Hall, 66 Thillen Drive, and inside the main entrance of the Fox Lake Police Department, 301 S. Route 59.
