Richmond retailer fails tobacco minimum-age check

RICHMOND – A Richmond retailer violated minimum-age laws for tobacco sales, the Richmond police said.

The violation occurred as part of a village-wide compliance check involving nine tobacco retailers, according to a press release.

The employee of Tobacco and Dollar Up, at 10217 N. Main St., was issued a municipal code violation and has an administrative hearing scheduled for Dec. 20.
