WOODSTOCK – A Wonder Lake man accused of having sex with a teenager has the name of the girl tattooed on his body, prosecutors said.

Michael E. Allen, 33, was charged with three counts each of criminal sexual assault and abuse. The more serious charge carries a sentencing range of four to 15 years in prison.

Allen and the 15-year-old alleged victim had sexual relations on three occasions when the girl came home early from school, Assistant State's Attorney David Metnick said.

In asking that his bond be reduced to $40,000, Allen's attorney, Assistant Public Defender Kim Messer, argued that Allen maintains steady employment and no longer lives with the girl.

McHenry County Judge Gordon Graham rejected the request. Allen has been held in McHenry County Jail on $100,000 bond since his Dec. 3 arrest. His next court date is Dec. 30.
