LAKE IN THE HILLS – Two Lake in the Hills residents have been charged with possession of drugs as part of a two-month long McHenry County Sheriff’s Office investigation.
Jacob D. Boudrie, 30, on Wednesday sold prescription pills to undercover members of the narcotics unit, police said.
Boudrie and Simone A. Nadeau, 26, were then pulled over in a traffic stop in Crystal Lake where detectives found two grams of marijuana, 35 oxycodone pills, 30 hydrocodone pills and 40 methadone pills, sheriff’s police said.
The estimated street value of the drugs is about $750.
The narcotics unit was conducting the investigation after receiving information about a Lake in the Hills resident selling prescription drugs, police said.
Boudrie was charged with five counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, five counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, five counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, driving while license suspended and improper lane usage.
Nadeau was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
According to police, bond still needs to be determined by a judge.
