Lost Valley Venture program to focus on "Nature Crafts"

RINGWOOD – The monthly Lost Valley Venture program will feature a nature lesson, game and activity based on the topic "Nature Crafts."

The program will run 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 or Dec. 28, at Lost Valley Visitor Center in Glacial Park, Route 31 and Harts Road in Ringwood.

If weather permits, participants will also go for a short outdoor exploratory hike, so they should dress appropriately fort he weather.

The program is free, and registration is not required. All ages are welcome.

Next month the topic will be "Animal Tracks," and February will revolve around coyotes.

This program is intended for families and cannot accommodate organized groups. 

Youth groups should contact Prairieview Education Center at 815-479-5779 to schedule a program for their group.
