CHICAGO (AP) — The snow storm moving across northern Illinois has airlines canceling flights at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

The Chicago Department of Aviation said Thursday morning that 300 flights were canceled at O'Hare. Officials say that's due to low visibility and winter weather conditions. Some flights at O'Hare are delayed 45 minutes.

Midway International Airport was reporting delays of about 15 minutes with some flights delayed up to an hour. There were fewer than ten cancelations at Midway.

The storm has dumped nearly 6 inches of snow at O'Hare.
