WOODSTOCK – A Lake in the Hills man pleaded not guilty Tuesday to more than two dozen charges alleging that he had sexual contact with children.

Otto L. Bobadilla, 47, is awaiting trial on 28 counts of various sex crimes. Some of the alleged incidents date back to 2008.

For the more serious charges – predatory criminal sexual assault of a child – he faces a possible sentence of six to 30 years in prison.

The alleged victims are related to Bobadilla, authorities have said.

Bobadilla first was charged Nov. 19. Additional charges were added and he later was served with a warrant while in McHenry County Jail.

He remains in custody on $400,000 bond.
