Felony charges filed for defrauding drug test
WOODSTOCK – A Carpentersville woman was arrested Tuesday for attempting to defraud a drug screen, the McHenry County Sheriff's Office said.
The Sheriff's Office was notified by McHenry County Probation and Court Services who found "evidence" in the bathroom immediately after 19-year-old Sonia Rodriguez took a drug screen, the Office said.
A container that appeared to have urine in it was found in the bathroom, authorities said.
Defrauding a drug test is a Class 4 felony punishable by one to three years in prison.
McHenry County Court records indicate that in October 2013, Rodriguez was given six months of probation and ordered to be drug screened on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge.
Her bond was set at $15,000. She's scheduled to appear in court Jan. 10.
