To the Editor:
While my grandson, Scott, recently was home on leave from the Army, he went to get a haircut.
While waiting for his turn, another man was trying to pay his bill, but his credit card wasn’t working. Scott gave the barber his credit card to pay the man’s bill. The barber asked Scott if he knew the man, and Scott said no, but he looked like he could use some help.
After Scott got his haircut, he handed his card to the barber, who said, “Your’s is free.”
I am so proud of my grandson, and thank you also to the barber. Life is good.
