Open Mic Night continues at Glacial Park

RINGWOOD – A new event hosted by the McHenry County Conservation District is continuing on to its second month.

An Open Mic Night will be from 8 to 11 p.m. Jan. 24 in the Valley Overlook Room at Lost Valley Visitor Center in Glacial Park, Route 31 and Harts Road in Ringwood.

Attendees are welcome to bring their instruments and favorite songs, stories or poems to share.

To sign up for a time slot, email kcompton@mccdistrict.org and include how long of a time slot is needed, from one song to a 15- or 30-minute set.

Free hot chocolate and cookies will be available.
