McHENRY – The Stateline Society for Human Resource Management affiliate will host a breakfast seminar on boosting engagement with employee volunteer programs.

The program facilitator, Stateline SHRM President Laurie Retzlaff, and contributing presenters Anita Neville and Amy Malpica from Union-based Intren, will guide attendees through the process of building the business case for implementing employee volunteerism as an opportunity to improve job satisfaction, create positive community partnerships and contribute to business success.

The program is pending approval for 1.25 recertification credit hours toward recertification through the HR Certification Institute. Applicable information will be included in on-site materials.

The breakfast meeting is from 7:45 to 9:45 a.m. at McHenry County College’s Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, McHenry. The cost is $15 for members and $30 for nonmembers payable by cash or check at the door. Credit card payments can be made when registering online. Reservations are required by Feb. 10.
