WOODSTOCK – A Lake in the Hills man was ordered probation after admitting Monday that he possessed child pornography.

Additional related charges against Robert B. Krusee, 70, were dismissed in exchange for his guilty plea.

McHenry County Judge Sharon Prather accepted the plea agreement and sentenced the man to two years of sex-offender probation, during which Krusee must undergo sex offender treatment.

The judge also sentenced him to 180 days in McHenry County Jail, with credit for 48 days served. Krusee also must pay a $1,500 fine and register as a sex offender.

Krusee was indicted in February 2013.

According to Assistant State's Attorney Sharyl Eisenstein, Krusse possessed a picture of a female child engaged in a sex act.
