Four Crystal Lake men charged with drug conspiracy

CRYSTAL LAKE – Four Crystal Lake men face drug conspiracy charges after an investigation by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit.

Jeremy R. Anderson, 26, Martin J. Herman, 51, Michael Larkin, 34, and Olatunji J. Oni Jr., 26, all of Crystal Lake, along with Larion L. Littleton, 20, of Chicago, were arrested Dec. 20 after multiple warrants were issued, according to a news release issued Wednesday.

Police also have a warrant for the arrest of Terry R. Pugh, 24, whose whereabouts are unknown, the sheriff’s office said.

The narcotics unit conducted the investigation involving the sale of crack cocaine over the course of a few weeks.

At the end of the investigation, the sheriff’s deputies seized 7.3 grams of marijuana, 14.7 grams of cocaine, nine hydrocodone pills, two handguns, ammunition, drug paraphernalia and $550 in cash, according to the news release. The total value of the narcotics seized is about $1,800.

The six men all face charges of unlawful calculated criminal drug conspiracy and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

Larkin also was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Members of the Lake in the Hills Police Department, Crystal Lake Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Agency conducted the undercover narcotics investigation. The U.S. Marshal Service helped apprehend the men.
