Boy Scouts to hold pig roast and silent auction

JOHNSBURG – Boy Scout Troop 455 of Johnsburg is hosting its 20th annual pig roast and silent auction.

The event will run 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, at the Johnsburg Community Club, 2315 W. Church St., according to a news release.

Attendees can pick up a carry-out meal or can dine in and have all they can eat.

The silent auction will include gift baskets, vacation packages, gift certificates, party packs and jewelry. Bidding closes at 3:15 p.m., and bidders don't need to be present to win.

Tickets cost $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 65 years and older, and $7 for children 4 to 10 years old.
