1-3 inches of snow expected today

McHenry County should see about 1-3 inches of snow today, according to the National Weather Service.

Another "Alberta Clipper" in what has been a week of seemingly endless clipper systems, is expected to come through today and drop a couple of inches of snow. Wind chill index values could go as low as 4 degrees below zero today, and 8 degrees below zero tonight, according to the NWS.
