Chamber to host ‘State of the Community’ event

CRYSTAL LAKE – The Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce annual “State of the Community” luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 28 at D’Andrea Banquets and Conference Center.  

Crystal Lake Mayor Aaron Shepley and Lakewood Village President Erin Smith will give their forecasts for their communities and discuss business-related issues and the state of plans in their respective towns. The community is invited to attend this luncheon to learn what is happening locally in the next year. For information, call Chamber Liaison Bonnie Miller at 815-459-1300.

Other upcoming events include Out To Lunch at Georgio’s Chicago Pizzeria & Pub from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday; a mixer for the Dawnbreakers Rotary Club of Crystal Lake will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park; a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Erin’s Mobile Pet Grooming at the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce will be at 12:45 p.m. Thursday; a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Pablo’s Mexican Restaurant; and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 27 at EmbroidMe.
