Chamber to host ‘State of the Community’ event

CRYSTAL LAKE – The Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce annual “State of the Community” luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 28 at D’Andrea Banquets and Conference Center.  

Crystal Lake Mayor Aaron Shepley and Lakewood Village President Erin Smith will give their forecasts for their communities and discuss business-related issues and the state of plans in their respective towns. Other upcoming events include Out To Lunch at Georgio’s Chicago Pizzeria & Pub from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday; a mixer for the Dawnbreakers Rotary Club of Crystal Lake will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park; a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Erin’s Mobile Pet Grooming at the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce will be at 12:45 p.m. Thursday; a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Pablo’s Mexican Restaurant; and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 27 at EmbroidMe.
