Winter weather advisory in effect until 6 a.m. Monday

A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 6 a.m. Monday as winds will increase to 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph possible this evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Additional light snow is possible this evening. According to the weather service, snow accumulation measures at two to five inches as of this morning.

Gusty winds this evening will cause significant drifting of snow. This along with a period of snow showers may lead to near blizzard conditions, according to the weather service.

The weather service urged caution when traveling.
