Horist joins American Community Bank & Trust

WOODSTOCK – Matt Horist has joined American Community Bank & Trust as assistant vice president, commercial banking officer.  

Horist will manage and develop client relationships from the Woodstock bank, according to a news release. He has 13 years of commercial banking experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Lake Forest College. He and his family live in Pingree Grove.  

American Community Bank & Trust has banks in Crystal Lake, Huntley, McHenry and Woodstock. It is locally owned and managed. Founded in March 2000, the bank has about $500 million in assets.
