Route 176 reopens after crash

CRYSTAL LAKE – Eastbound Route 176 has reopened after a two-car crash closed traffic Thursday morning.

Around 8:30 a.m. two vehicles collided at the intersection of Route 176 and Route 31 in Crystal Lake. Eastbound Route 176 was closed from Route 31 to Smith Road.

Three patients were transported to the hospital, according to dispatch reports.
