Going down wrong path

To the Editor:

While watching our president deliver his State of the Union speech, I could only imagine seeing John Wayne throwing the bad sheriff out of town.

Barack Obama is a bad sheriff. He’s not our friend. He has no regard for our Constitution. He has an agenda for our country. It is his father’s anti-American dream. He’s trying to transform us.

Behind the smiles, the beautiful rhetoric and his endless campaigning, truth has been absent. Our national security, our economy, our health care and the very heart of our country, the American family, is in jeopardy. If you have followed his actions, this is indisputable.

He has shown more concern for the feelings of our enemies than showing support for our allies and us. He openly informs our enemies of our military strategy, but when it comes to informing the American people, he chooses not to tell us the truth.

Costly entitlements and redistribution of wealth doesn’t create jobs. It makes us more dependent on government. Our new health care system was sold to us on false information. Our president and many elected officials choose to promote wrong behavior over right and feelings over truth for votes.

The word “traditional” was never used in the definition of marriage until now. Everything has become “the right thing to do.” Well, everything is not the right thing to do. We are losing the “fear of God” attitude for His unchangeable laws and principles. Are we really sure we want to stay on this path?
