Martin Elementary asking for college pennants

LAKE IN THE HILLS – Martin Elementary School is changing the theme of its cafeteria to the "Road to College."

A 20-foot-by-50 mural is planned for the cafeteria. The school also plans to hang college pennants the ceiling.

The school is asking people to donate 12-inch by 30-inch pennants. So far, 33 pennants from schools such as Northwestern University, DePaul University, University of Wisconsin, Texas A&M University, Indiana University, University of Hawaii, and Purdue University, have been donated.
