McHenry library hosts FAFSA workshop, practice ACT

McHENRY – College students and the college-bound can get some help with their financial aid forms and ACT test prep.

A drop-in workshop for those looking for assistance in completing their FAFSA form will be held 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, in the conference room and computer lab at the McHenry Public Library, 809 N. Front St.

Attendees are encouraged to bring specific questions about their applications as well as their most recent tax return and financial statements.

A fully proctored practice ACT will be administered 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, in the library's meeting room. The test results will be emailed to participating students a week after the testing date.

Students should bring No. 2 pencils and an approved calculator.
