Woodstock Public Library to host A Taste of Mardi Gras

WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Public Library will be hosting A Taste of Mardi Gras on Saturday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m.

Chef Dave Esau, owner of Dave’s Specialty Foods in Mount Prospect, will present a cooking demonstration highlighting the cuisine of the Big Easy. Dave’s resume includes experience at renowned restaurants such as Charlie Trotters, Le Titi de Paris, and the American Club.

There is no charge for the program but registration is required and can be completed online at or by phone to 815-338-0542. The library is located at 414 W. Judd Street.
