Let Zinke continue work

To the Editor:

As longtime citizens of McHenry County, we urge voters to cast their votes for Andrew Zinke for sheriff in the March 18 primary election.

It is imperative that he continue his work in protecting our citizens, families, homes and businesses, and in ridding our county of heroin and other dangerous and addictive drugs.

During Undersheriff Zinke’s 25 years of service in McHenry County, he has proved to be fiscally responsible, available to our people and always of service to our most vulnerable citizens.

Andrew has worked to build good working relationships among local, statewide and national law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and the U.S. Marshal’s Office, for the benefit of the communities in our county.

As friends of Undersheriff Zinke and as concerned citizens of McHenry County, we hope that voters throughout the county will recognize his extensive contributions to the safety of our citizens and businesses.
