Man jumps on top of commuter train in Chicago

CHICAGO — Metra officials say commuter train Service was delayed when a man climbed on top of a train in Chicago.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that the man climbed on the inbound Union Pacific-North Line Train 315 shortly before 8 on Monday morning when it was stopped on Chicago's North Side.

The man jumped from car to car and refused to come down for several minutes until he ultimately came down and was taken to an area hospital for evaluation.

Metra officials say the train that the man climbed on and an outbound train were stopped for about a half hour before they started moving again. Metra's website says trains were delayed for 15 to 20 minutes.
