McHenry County College to offer workplace safety training

CRYSTAL LAKE – Those with workplace safety responsibilities can receive Occupational Safety and Health Administration training at McHenry County College.

The Shah Center of McHenry County College is accepting registrations for OSHA 10-Hour Voluntary Compliance in General Industry facilitated by OSHA certified Accident Prevention Corporation. The course is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for March 17 and 18.

Students will be introduced to OSHA policies, procedures and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of attendance and an OSHA 10-Hour card.

The course fee, which includes materials, is $225. Participants can register by calling the college registration office at 815-455-8588 and referring to course ID: NTE S65 003. The program will be held at the Shah Center on 4100 W. Shamrock Ln. in McHenry. For more information, call 815-455-8593 or email the center at shahcenter@mchenry.edu.
