Have you and your family been stuck inside this winter far too much and for far too long?

If you are like most people, your answer is yes, and you have cabin fever.

In less than two weeks, the Richmond Spring Grove Chamber of Commerce will host its 21st annual Health, Home, Business and Craft Expo on March 8. Load your family and friends into the car and join us at Nippersink Middle School in Richmond because this is an event you will not want to miss.

Admission is free, and we will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We have a full house and a wide variety of businesses participating along with many talented artists and crafters selling hand-made items.

We also will have entertainment for the entire family including live music and face painting and airbrushing for the kids from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jim and Harry’s and Off Broadway Coffee of Richmond will be selling food and coffee.

Are you a Bulls fan? Would you like to win two tickets with VIP parking to see the Bulls? We will raffle those tickets, and more, as our grand prize at the event.

In addition to the expo, the Richmond Spring Grove Chamber of Commerce will host a number of other events in the coming months.

If your cabin fever has you dreaming about  golfing with friends, mark your calendar and sign up your team for the Richmond Spring Grove Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing on May 28 at Twin Lakes Country Club.

On June 28, the chamber, along with the village of Richmond, will host our annual Wine Walk.

This year, there will be up to 90 artists participating in the Fine Arts Festival.

For information, call the chamber office at 815-678-7742.
