Reasons to get rid of junk mail

Monitoring the mail is a great way to cut down clutter. There is less to dispose of so you’ll feel less overwhelmed and take a step toward saving our environment.

The benefits include saving trees. More than 100 million trees are destroyed each year to produce junk mail. Forty-two percent of timber harvested nationwide becomes pulpwood for paper.  

It will reduce global warming. The energy used to produce and dispose of junk mail exceeds 2.8 million cars.
