Spaghetti dinner scheduled for Allegiance Color Guard group

The Allegiance Youth Color Guard of Dundee has scheduled its second annual spaghetti dinner.

The event is a fundraiser for the 25-member group with youngsters from Crystal Lake, Lake in the Hills, Cary, Algonquin and West Dundee.

Money from the event will go toward costumes, equipment, such as the cost of flags, rifles and sabres, and competition entrance fees, according to a news release.

Tickets for the event cost is $7.50 for people older than 10 years old. Youngsters 4 to 10 years old cost $5. Children 3 and younger are free.

There also will be a bake sale and raffle tickets for door prizes at the event, as well as a silent auction.

The spaghetti dinner and bake sale is set for 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, at the VFW Post 2298, 117 S. First St. in West Dundee.
