Published: Monday, March 3, 2014 3:22 p.m. CDT

HARVARD — Harvard Preschool Inc. is hosting a pasta dinner and silent auction to mark 40 years of service and raise money for the school's future.

The event is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 8 on the lower level of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1601 Garfield St., Harvard.

The preschool was founded in 1974 and provides early education to 3- through 5-year-old students. Students' tuition is offset by fundraisers.

In addition to raising money for the school, Saturday's event offers a chance for the school to showcase the work of students and teachers.

Tickets to the dinner and auction cost $7. Children under three are free.

Dinner includes mostaccioli, salad, bread, drinks and dessert. Tickets are available at Ulmer's Jewelers or at the preschool, 1601 Garfield St., Harvard. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

For more information, call the school at 815-943-5242 or email
