Lake in the Hills police reports for March 4, 2014

• Police investigated a criminal sexual assault on Friday, Feb. 21, on the 1100 block of Crystal Lake Road.

• Money and jewelry was taken from a home on Friday, Feb. 21, on the 1500 block of Adams Street.

• Kyle L. Kniesel, 21, 300 Village Creek Drive, Lake in the Hills, was charged Saturday, Feb. 22, with driving under the influence.

• An unknown subject entered a vehicle without consent Saturday, Feb. 22, on the 1400 block of Monroe Street.

• Motor oil and a filter was taken from a vehicle on Saturday, Feb. 22, on the 1500 block of Monroe Street.

• An unknown subject entered a vehicle without consent on Saturday, Feb. 22, on the 1400 block of Monroe Street.

• An unknown subject entered a vehicle without consent on Saturday, Feb. 22, on the 10 block of McKinley Street.

• Money was taken from an unlocked vehicle on Saturday, Feb. 22, on the 1500 block of Adams Street.

• A basement window was broken in an attempt to gain access to a residence on Saturday, Feb. 22, on the 1100 block of Heartland Gate.

• An unknown subject entered a vehicle without consent on Saturday, Feb. 22, on the 1400 block of Monroe Street.

• Jessica A. Thinnes, 32, 820 North Shore Drive, Crystal Lake, was charged Monday, Feb. 24, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, unlawful use of registration, expired registration, no insurance and child endangerment.

• Joshua M. Moore, 28, 12 Walnut Grove Court, Lake in the Hills, was charged Monday, Feb. 24, with attempted residential burglary.

• A complainant's windshield was shattered on Monday, Feb. 24, at Glenrose Lane and Annandale Drive.

• A license plate was reported missing on Monday, Feb. 24, on the 0 block of Carl Court.

• A GPS was taken from an unlocked vehicle on Monday, Feb. 24, on the 1500 block of Washington Street.

• Magazines and other miscellaneous items were taken from an unsecured vehicle on Tuesday, Feb. 25, on the 1500 block of Adams Street.

• Police investigated bad checks being written on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

• A complainant's vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle on Wednesday, Feb. 26, on the 2400 block of Wexford Lane.

• Zack Cleveland, 19, 1161 77th Ave., Dyer, Ind., was charged Thursday, Feb. 27, with traveling to meet a minor, criminal sexual abuse, public indecency and solicitation of a minor.

• Possible drug paraphernalia was found inside a residence on Thursday, Feb. 27, on the 400 block of Winslow Way.

• Police investigated a male subject who allegedly violated an order of protection on Thursday, Feb. 27, on the 1300 block of Cunat Court.

• Andy Gonzales, 19, 151 Village Creek Drive, Lake in the Hills, was charged Friday, Feb. 28, with possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Police investigated statements made to a child while walking home from the bus stop on Friday, Feb. 28, on the 300 block of Annandale Drive.

• Timothy W. Benbennick, 23, 3 Deerpath Lane, Lake in the Hills, was charged Saturday, March 1, with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

• An unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle and fled the scene on Saturday, March 1, on the 0 block of Acorn Lane.

• Patrick R. Knauf, 23, 4021 W. Lillian St., McHenry, was charged Sunday, March 2, with driving under the influence of alcohol and disregarding a traffic control device.

• A complainant's tire was punctured by a metal object on Sunday, March 2, at the intersection of Lakewood and Miller roads.
