WOODSTOCK – High school students looking to knock some money off college tuition could benefit from "All about Scholarships," a class at the Woodstock Public Library Wednesday.

The library is bringing in a representative from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission to introduce students to the process of applying for scholarships. The 30-minute presentation starts at 6:30 p.m. at the library, 414 W. Judd St., Woodstock.

Attendees will learn the basics about applications and get tips from successful applicants. They'll also be put in touch with reputable sources of information and learn about the resources available at the high school.

Those who go are encouraged to register online at www.woodstockpubliclibrary.org or by calling 815-338-0542. Registration isn't required.

For more information, contact Beth Ryan at 815-338-0542 or bethr@woodstockil.info.
