WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Police Department will target speeders during its March traffic enforcement initiative.

Police will look to reduce the amount of speed-related crashes through "highly visible increased enforcement," according to a press release from the department.

The department also wants to continue to encourage compliance with posted speed limits, the release said.

For more information about the initiative, call Sergeant Rob Pritchard at 815-338-2131 or email him at rpritchard@woodstockil.gov.
