Formal dress donations still needed for Sunday benefit

CRYSTAL LAKE – The seventh annual My Sister’s Dress Project is now collecting new and almost-new formal gowns and accessories for the sale benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County.

My Sister’s Dress is hosting dress drives now through March 7th to collect formal dresses and accessories in new or gently used condition. These collection drives are scheduled in preparation for the 7th annual dress sale to be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 9th, 2014 at McHenry County College in the gymnasium.

The following local businesses will accept dress and accessory donations during their own business hours:  Star 105.5, American Community Bank in Crystal Lake, McHenry, Woodstock, and Huntley, McHenry County College – Student Life Office A250, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County in McHenry.
