To the Editor:
Former Congressman Joe Walsh is trying to take over the McHenry County GOP and has threatened to start a new political party if he is unsuccessful in his grasp for power.
Walsh speaks of a revolution and how it might be necessary to take up arms against our own government.
These are simply the irresponsible rants of an irrelevant malcontent. Why anyone would give any credibility to his nonsense is beyond me. He is a known deadbeat who has failed to pay his obligations. Presumably, fiscal restraint should apply to others, not him.
He was pro-choice while living in Cook County and running for office, then was pro-life while living in McHenry County and running for office. None of this should be surprising from a man trained as an actor.
Walsh changes his ideology to suit his present circumstances. He is the poster child for what is wrong with politics.
